Hi! I am Louise, and I founded LMHR Consulting because I am Passionate about People, Performance and Possibilities. I enjoy making a difference. In my view, the employment relationship is a delicate balance. People deserve to have a fulfilling and enriching experience at work, business leaders deserve to see their organisations perform and I am a true believer that anything is possible.
It is widely acknowledged that engaged, committed and happy employees will expend significantly more discretionary effort in the pursuit of business goals. So, organisations that ‘get it right’ will enjoy the high performing business that will result – everyone wins.
My experience of working with a wide range of business leaders and managers over the last 13 years has taught me that we are all different, but that we all want to matter, and to have a voice. It is balancing those needs with the strategic business goals of the business, along with ensuring you have the right talent in the right place (along with a multitude of other considerations) that creates high performing businesses.
I am passionate about providing pragmatic support that has at its core a desire to develop, engage and improve the working experience. My coaching approach and intuition have supported business leaders, and their teams, to be the best they can be. I believe in regular, honest feedback and will encourage, support and challenge you and your business to take steps towards transformational change.
I completed my vocational legal training before narrowly escaping a career in law. After an 18 month period in legal recruitment I joined a top 20 regional UK law firm in their HR department. Whilst there I completed my CIPD qualifications and am a Chartered Member of the CIPD. This was followed by a move to Singapore to become a senior member of the Talent Management team for a top 5 global law firm before returning to the UK to set up LMHR Consulting.
I am now adding additional skills to my offering with the development of a transformational coaching practice accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM). This provides clients with the space and opportunity to explore who they truly are, to become more self-aware, to take responsibility for their part to play in their ‘story’ and then to recognise that they are infinitely resourceful in order to make any changes needed in order to bring about their personal and business goals.
I look forward to working with you.
